Across the Canal

About This Project

A farmer’s son is overshadowed by his older brother and their mother. After his sister dissapears and the situation escalates, it’s his responsibility to restore the peace within the farm.

“Across the Canal” is a feature film in development. This is the first feature film produced by Harpy Films as a main producer.

Two farmer’s sons have different opinions about the future of their father’s farm. When father suddenly dies, the family dynamics, which were disturbing but functional, drastically change. While the oldest son is under the assumption that he will follow in father’s footsteps, mother has a different idea about who’s in charge. The story unravels itself in a weird power struggle which escalates after their sister suddenly disappears. The faith of the farm lies in the hands of the second brother.
